Indiana State Police intercept cocaine and weed en route to Indianapolis
Indiana – Police apprehended a semi-truck driver carrying drugs valued at over one million dollars. The cargo, en route to Indianapolis from Los Angeles, California, contained seventy pounds of cocaine and forty-five pounds of marijuana, hidden within the vehicle.
The arrest occurred during a routine inspection by the Indiana State Police on Interstate 70 in Putnam County. Initially stopped for a standard check, the driver aroused suspicion, prompting further investigation by the trooper. This scrutiny led to the unveiling of the illicit substances.
